Electro Plus® Advancing Fusion Technology For Thermoplastic Pipe & Fittings Systems
Fuseal 25/50 PVDF, Fuseal II, Fuseal Squared (Double Containment), and PProseal
GF Piping Systems has introduced the Electro Plus® Fusion Machine, designed to simplify
and speed the electro-fusion joining process of thermoplastic pipe and fittings.
The new fusion machine is used to join GF Piping Systems’
- FuseaI Il® (polypropylene)
- Fuseal Squared™ Double Containment (polypropylene)
- Fuseal 25/50™ PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride)
- PPro-Seal™ Natural PP (polypropylene) piping systems
New Electro Plus Fusion Machine By Georg Fischer
Electro-Plus Key Features:
The newly designed machine has the following features:
- Advanced transformer technology
- Hand-held user interface
- Displays line voltage & Hz during fusion
- Remote operation & control
- Multiple joint fusion capability
- Real Time continuity detection
How It Works
Electro Plus® incorporates advanced electro-fusion technology, which fuses two thermoplastic
parts together by means of electrical heat resistance. Key to the unit’s ease of
use is its hand-held user interface. This allows the joining process to be completed
without climbing up and down a ladder for each fusion cycle, providing significant
timesaving installation. Further time and labor savings is gained through the unit’s
ability to fuse multiple joints in one fusion cycle and its one-button repeat fusion
cycle for same-size joints.

Hand Held Unit Shown with 20' of Cable Machine has 15' fusion cable with 4 (3)'
connectors for Remote or Over Head Fusion
Remote Operation
The machine has 18 foot fusion cables and a Hand Held Unit with a 20 foot cable.
The operator can place the fusion power unit on the floor while using the cables
and Hand Held Unit on a ladder with the pipe and fittings. This allows the joining
process to be completed without climbing up and down the ladder for each fusion
cycle, providing signifi cant time savings.
Real Time Continuity
The four duplex connectors have integrated green & red indicator lights. A green
light in the plug of the fusion cable indicates the cable is connected and the fusion
coil has continuity. If a light does not illuminate, the coil is possibly damaged
and should be replaced. Once you press the start button, a red light in the plug
of the fusion cable will indicate that the fusion process is active. Once the fusion
process is complete, a green light in the plug will illuminate indicating a successful
fusion. No other coil fusion corrosion resistant waste system available today offers
this feature.
