Brew Hose on Tap!

ReSeal® Fittings and Pure-Fit® Hose combine for a clean, tasty brew.

RHFS and Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics offer hose assemblies designed specifically to meet the requirements of beverage brewing applications. The combination of ReSeal® reusable fittings and Pure-Fit® Brewer Hose provides numerous benefits, the most important being the significant savings (up to 90%) that result from the ability to dismount the ReSeal fitting and reattach it to a new length of hose.

ReSeal fittings feature a full flow compression seal and smooth bore design. With no obstructions on the inner surface of the fittings, there’s nowhere for bacteria and other harmful contaminants to become entrapped. Sanitary fitting assemblies are designed for CIP and SIP cleaning, but may be taken apart for thorough inspection and reassembled, facilitating clean-ability and inspect-ability.

Pure-Fit® Brewer Hose features a white chlorobutyl inner tube and rugged Red EPDM cover, available in one-piece seamless (Series BRH-AB) or multi-ply fabric reinforcement (Series BRH). Rated for service temperatures of -22°F to 222°F and available in ID sizes ranging from 1” to 4”, Pure-Fit hose combines lightweight, durability and purity. Both ReSeal fittings and Pure-Fit Brewer Hose comply with key industry standards including 3-A (62.01), USDA and Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). Series BRH-AB Brewer Hose meets 3-A Standard 1800.

RHFS Pulse Tech Notes

Microza® Protects Against Water-Borne Contaminants

Conventional water treatment upstream of nanofiltration and reverse osmosis systems can include sand filtration, flocculations, ion exchange resins and cartridge filtration. For a more economical and reliable approach, Pall has developed a compact system that uses Microza Hollow Fiber modules for the replacement of most conventional water treatment steps upstream of reverse osmosis or nanofiltration. The modules are available in Microfiltration or Ultrafiltration grades to meet the application requirements.

Since membrane technology provides a positive barrier, the Microza LGV modules provide a much higher security against waterborne contamination than traditional systems. The hollow fiber membranes have low fouling characteristics and are mechanically strong so that they can be backflushed to ensure stable operation. The quality of the filtered water meets requirements and remains stable even if the raw water quality is variable. The hollow fibers remove oxidized iron and manganese and organic contaminants. They provide exceptional security for microbial contaminants such as molds, cysts and viruses.
